Counseling Office

At Asbury Elementary, we are dedicated to nurturing the academic, social, and emotional development of every student. Our  School Counselor Coryn Schuler plays a key role in helping students build the confidence and skills they need to thrive both in and out of the classroom.

Ms. Schuler and our Social Worker, Lakiesha Sweeney, offer a variety of services designed to support students at every stage of their elementary journey. These include individual and small group counseling, classroom guidance lessons focused on social-emotional learning, and assistance during times of transition or personal challenge. They also collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to ensure each student’s needs are met in a caring and inclusive environment.

Whether your child is learning to manage emotions, navigate friendships, or overcome obstacles, the counseling office is here to help. Their mission is to make sure every Asbury student feels safe, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential.

If you have questions or would like to connect, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Coryn Schuler or Lakiesha Sweeney. They’re here for you and your student!
